Yoga weekends

Mindful yoga for wellbeing

I’m planning to run some small, two-night yoga weekends in nature, for just 7 to 12 people, offering calm and steady mat-based yoga for mixed abilities to support mobility, strength, balance and relaxation.

The aim is to create a relaxed, down-to-earth weekend with plenty of yoga, time in nature, good food, rest and conversation. The likely itinerary is:

Friday

  • 3pm or 4pm: Arrival drinks and settling in
  • 6pm: Optional introduction to yoga for living and ageing well with bone health in mind (whether you have normal bone density, osteopenia, osteoporosis or don’t know)
  • 6.30pm: Yoga session 1, Grounding (Earth)
  • 8.30pm: Vegetarian dinner.

Saturday

  • 8am: Yoga session 2, Flowing (Water)
  • 9.30am: Help yourself breakfast
  • Free time / group nature walk
  • 12pm: Yoga session 3, Growing (Fire)
  • 2pm: Lunch and tea / coffee
  • Free time / group nature walk
  • 6.30pm: Yoga session 4, Ease (Air)
  • 8.30pm: Vegetarian dinner.

Sunday

  • 8am: Yoga session 5, Stillness (Space)
  • 9.30am: Help yourself breakfast

  • 12pm: Yoga session 6, Integration
  • 2pm: Lunch and tea / coffee
  • 3pm or 4pm: Home time.

Confirmed dates

  • Spring equinox: 19 to 21 March 2027 at Velindre House, West Wales. Further details and bookings available here.

Other likely dates:

  • Late autumn: 20 to 22 November to 4 to 6 December 2026
  • Late spring / early summer: May or June 2027
  • Early Autumn: September or October

Price and practicalities

The aim is to keep these weekends as affordable as possible, while covering the costs involved in running them. The final price will depend on the venue, catering and number of bookings, and will include two nights’ accommodation, all yoga sessions, food and drink, and the use of yoga mats and props.

These will be relaxed, down-to-earth weekends rather than luxury retreats, with a shared and communal feel. Everyone will be asked to chip in with simple practical things, which may include laying the table, clearing plates and washing up after meals (depending on the venue and catering options).

Express your interest

Expressing your interest doesn’t commit you to booking or require any payment. It means I’ll let you know first when the venue, dates and final price are confirmed. Let me know you’re interested here.
