Moving through change

I teach mindful yoga for wellbeing, with a focus on breath-led, calm and steady movement, gradually building mobility, strength and balance from the ground up.

I also draw on my varied background to support people, organisations and communities through change in different ways. I write too and share ideas on health, home, community and change. I’m interested in the role services, communities and places play in supporting wellbeing, particularly through life transitions.

Yoga for adults

Slow, steady mat-based yoga for mixed abilities, supporting mobility, strength, balance and relaxation. Classes can be osteoporosis-aware if needed. I currently run weekly Sunday morning classes at Studio 366 in Molesey.

Yoga for health

Yoga for people who may not have tried yoga before and who want to be more active; develop some tools for mindfulness, relaxation and resilience, and improve their health, with both chair and mat options always given. I offer this through general community yoga classes, as well as through the Yoga4Health PCI-accredited 10-week programme through NHS and self-referrals.

Yoga for children

Yoga for children in primary schools and community settings as a qualified YogaBeez teacher. YogaBeez training brings together Montessori and Yoga philosophy, using playful movement, breathing and mindfulness to support children’s learning and development in a holistic and nurturing way.

Yoga weekends

Small group day retreats and one or two-night yoga weekends in nature, bringing together mindful yoga, time outdoors, good food, rest and conversation.

  • Spring equinox weekend, Velindre House, West Wales: 19 to 21 March 2027 (for adults).
