Frequently Asked Questions

A few common questions about my services and approach.

🌼 What services do you provide?
People come to me when they’re navigating home or life transitions and want someone to chat things through with and to help priotise goals and next steps. My work is light-touch but practical, helping you gain insight, confidence, and wellbeing through change.

  • Coaching-informed guidance sessions: one-to-one support to clarify goals, explore options, and move forward with confidence.
  • Home and moving support: from exploring whether a move is right for you, to advising on preparing your home, helping research areas and properties, scheduling or accompanying viewings, liaising with third parties, and supporting your decision-making. I offer independent, facilitative support but do not act as an agent or handle transactions.
  • Wellbeing support: optional yoga, relaxation, or reflective writing to support people through change.

👤 Who do you work with?
I work with anyone navigating life or home transitions, including:

  • People considering a change but unsure what it should look like
  • Those living alone who want guidance and company on the journey
  • People thinking about later life priorities or living arrangements
  • First-time buyers seeking clarity and support.

🌿 What kind of support can I expect?
Support is tailored to you. It can be one-off, short-term, or ongoing. This may involve guidance sessions, home and moving help, and possibly wellbeing support. The aim is always to help you move forward and feel steady during change.

🤝 Do you work with estate agents and other professionals?
Yes. I work alongside estate agents, solicitors and other professionals during the moving process. My role is to help you prepare, make decisions and manage change with clarity and confidence. When useful, I can also connect you with trusted builders, designers, wellbeing support, community organisations, or health and care providers.

🕒 When can I book guidance sessions?
Sessions are available subject to availability, usually Mondays to Fridays at 9am, 10.30am, 12pm and 2pm. Remote sessions are by phone or video; in-person is possible if you’re local.

🏡 How does home and moving support work?
Depending on your needs, I can help you:

  • Explore whether moving is right for you
Clarify priorities and research and plan your search area
  • Research potential properties, attend viewings, and help inform your decisions
  • Support communication and planning with professionals
  • Provide practical insight, strategic thinking and facilitation through your move, without acting on your behalf
  • Help you stay steady and focused during an emotional or complex time.

Support is always coaching-informed, solutions-focused, and centred on what matters to you. I don’t provide physical help such as packing or home staging, but I can advise on helpful ways to prepare and run reflective coaching sessions to support your thinking and planning.

🗓 Can I have ongoing support?
After an initial guidance session, you can choose to continue with regular coaching-informed guidance or a support package. Options include:

  • A 6-hour bundle to use as needed
  • 1.5 hours a week, either pay as you go or by monthly subscription (one month’s notice for changes).

💻 Can I work with you remotely?
Yes. Most support is by phone, video, email, or shared documents. In-person support is possible if you are nearby, particularly for home moves.

🧘 Do you offer wellbeing support?
Yes, when I have the capacity to offer it with care. This may include yoga, relaxation techniques, or writing your story.

🪴 Are you DBS registered and do you work with vulnerable people?
I’m not currently DBS registered. My work is designed for people who have the agency to reflect, clarify their priorities and make decisions about how they move forward. I create a supportive, reflective space to explore possibilities and achieve goals but not a therapeutic or safeguarding one.

Can you work with charities or organisations?
Yes. I can provide one-to-one or small group sessions for residents, service users, clients or community members. I can also deliver this as part of wider strategic work. Please see the For Organisations page for more information.
