After more than a year of running Mindful Yoga for Wellbeing on Sunday mornings and other days at Studio 366 in Molesey, I’m pleased to be starting a new session this week at Claygate Clinic’s studio, at 9.45am on Thursday mornings.
Mindful Yoga for Wellbeing
These classes focus on calm, steady, breath-led movement, supporting strength, balance, relaxation and greater awareness of how we feel.
Sessions are mat-based and suitable for mixed abilities, with gentler and deeper options available. Mats and props are provided, and numbers are kept small.
Weekly classes:
- Sundays, 8.15am and 9.45am: Studio 366, Molesey
- Thursdays, 9.45am: Claygate Clinic
Single classes are £14, or £12 per class with a five-class pass (£60). A small number of concessionary places are available at £7.

New Claygate Community Centre sessions
From Thursday 5 November, I’ll also be running weekly sessions at Claygate Community Centre, which has recently been taken over by Claygate Community Alliance, a new charity formed by local residents.
Yoga for Health
These sessions offer a gentle and accessible approach to yoga, with everyone starting and ending in a chair and the option to use a mat for the main movement practice.
Classes are from the NHS-commissioned, evidence-based Yoga4Health programme and are particularly suitable for people who want to become more active or are looking for a gentle way to support their health and wellbeing. You don’t need to have tried yoga before. Sessions include breathing exercises, mindful movement and relaxation.
Thursdays, 2.30–3.45pm and 4–5.15pm
Claygate Community Centre, from 5 November
There are ten spaces per class. The initial course dates are 5 November to 17 December, and then 7 to 21 January. The ten-week course will likely repeat again after that. To get the most out of the course, it’s best to attend all ten sessions if you can.
The course runs on a pay what-you-can basis, with suggested contributions of £5 or £10 to cover my time and equipment, and the venue hire, though please still get in touch if this amount would be a barrier to participating.

Reflection & Planning Clinic: Moving through home and life change
Before the Yoga for Health sessions, I’ll also be running a Reflection & Planning Clinic, offering time and space to think through changes in life or at home.
You might be considering moving or adapting your home, facing a change in circumstances, or perhaps feeling a bit stuck and unsure what to do next.
These one-to-one bookable sessions combine reflection, practical planning and action, helping you explore your options and identify possible next steps.
I’m particularly keen to support people aged 50 and over, including those living alone or caring for someone at home.
Thursdays, 11.30am–2pm
Claygate Community Centre, from 5 November
30-minute bookable sessions, with pay-what-you-can community rates of £5, £10 or £15.
