Yoga4Health 10-week course: 3 May-12 July

Yoga4Health course logo

This course gently supports confidence, mobility, and a sense of calm and connection.

On 3 May I’m starting a Sunday morning Yoga4Health course for a small group of eight people at Studio 366 in West Molesey, Surrey.

All sessions start and end in a chair with the option to move to a mat for the main movement, and also include breathing, relaxation and mindfulness exercises.

You can either sign-up directly or the course can be socially prescribed by your GP’s link worker if you live in the surrounding area.

The course will run for ten weeks until 12 July, with no class running on 21 June. More details are below. (Please note this course may not be suitable for wheelchair users due to the venue layout. Please do get in touch to discuss and to express your interest for future courses.)

You can contact me to express your interest and ask any questions you have. If you’d like to see the space and meet me before deciding whether to commit, I currently finishing teaching a class there at 11am on Sundays.

The course is currently planned to run on a pay-what-you-can basis (to contribute towards venue hire, course materials, and my teaching, admin and support time), as no funding has been secured for this course as of yet. (If a funder would like to contribute, the charity Yoga in Healthcare Alliance can receive the funds and has a standard funding model they suggest.)
