Winter invites a slower pace. It’s a time to turn inward, restore energy, and reconnect with ourselves. To help provide space for this, I’m running two Welcoming Winter Yoga Sessions on Sunday 21 December at the beautiful and calm Studio 366 in West Molesey.
The sessions blend steady, breath-led movement with moments of stillness, using props such as blocks, blankets and bolsters to support comfort, awareness and safe alignment. You can expect a balance of active and passive poses, gentle strength-building, and space to soften.
- 9.15–10.30am: Kindling Your Inner Fire
A grounding practice inspired by the solar plexus chakra. We’ll gently build warmth and confidence from within, supporting vitality during the darker months. - 11.00am–12.15pm: Opening Your Heart
A nurturing heart-centred session with spacious chest and shoulder work, breath awareness, and guided reflection. An opportunity to invite ease, compassion and openness.
Each Welcoming Winter session costs £14 and is limited to eight participants to keep the space calm and personal. If you decide to do both, you can either stay in the studio between the two sessions or pop into Bomonti cafe nearby.
New Year Yoga for wellbeing
January offers a natural moment to reset. These two New Year sessions continue the theme of reflection and renewal:

- Sunday 4 January · 9.30–11.00am: Grounding for the Year Ahead
A steady practice focused on the root chakra. We’ll explore grounding postures, breathwork and gentle strength-building to restore balance after the winter period and create a firm foundation for the year ahead. - Sunday 11 January · 9.30–11.00am: Finding Your Rhythm
A sacral chakra-inspired session inviting softness, receptivity and creativity. Through movement and mindful breathing, we’ll reconnect with natural rhythm, emotional ease and gentle renewal.
Each New Year session lasts 1 hour 30 minutes and costs £16. Spaces are limited to eight participants.
Mats, bolsters, blocks and blankets are provided.
A steady, breath-led practice
The sessions move at a calm, steady pace. Postures are held for a few breaths, supported where helpful, and combined with shorter yin-inspired releases to encourage both strength and softness. The aim is to help you feel more connected, grounded and at home in your body.
